Categories of personal data

The basic personal data that may be collected and/or processed by IXION S.M.S.A. are the following:

• Name.
• VAT number and Tax office.
• Landline and Mobile phone.
• E-mail

• Recording data of conversations and communications (eg telephone, live, electronic) after your prior notification, in accordance with the legal requirements.
• Contact details (mainly landline and mobile phone and email for corporate use).

In some of the following cases, IXION S.M.S.A. may collect and/or process some secondary personal data:

• To create a user account in the PlugQ Application.
• To register the subject in the various information mechanisms, regarding offers, discounts, new programs, corporate news of IXION S.M.S.A.. The specific mechanisms can be either electronic messages (E-Newsletter) or text messages ( SMS), or Instant messaging through related services (e.g. Viber, Push Up Notifications from PlugQ Application.).
• For the safeguarding of our other legal interests and the general protection of natural and legal persons and goods.

The secondary personal data in question are as follows:

Purpose of processing and legal basis

IXION S.M.S.A. may process part or all of the data sent by visitors/users for legal reasons (which are analyzed in more detail below), statistical reasons but also for reasons of improving its services.

Legitimate interests of the controller or third parties, as the case may be and when the legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest.

The processing is necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship with you (Article 6 (1) (b) of the General Regulation) and more specifically IXION S.M.S.A. • To count the energy consumed by customers.
• For the correct pricing of services provided to customers.
• To comply with the obligations towards the energy carrier and distributor as defined in the relevant legal framework.
• For the assessment of any credit risk that IXION S.M.S.A. is asked to undertake. through the contractual relationship with the subject.
• To monitor the evolution of formal obligations, either of a financial nature (debts), or of another subjective-qualitative nature and, by extension, limiting the possibility of the customer defaulting on these obligations.
• To improve the services provided through customer satisfaction surveys.

In addition to the above purposes, IXION S.M.S.A. may process personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide after-sales services.
• To find and serve potential customers.
• To promote services in order to attract new customers.

To comply with obligations imposed by law, such as for example the publication of acts and details of the anonymous company (including details of natural persons, such as shareholders, members of the Board of Directors or executives of IXION S.M.S.A.).

Additional Legal Basis of Processing

IXION S.M.S.A., in addition to the above, may also collect your personal data, as long as any of the following conditions are met:

The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legal interests pursued by IXION S.M.S.A. (Article 6 (1) (f) of the General Regulation). At this point we should emphasize that IXION S.M.S.A. restricts the use of this website only to adults over 18 years of age. Furthermore, the intention of IXION S.M.S.A. is not to collect personal data of minors and legally incompetent adults who may have access to its website, in violation of the above. However, since this cannot be ensured/confirmed by IXION S.M.S.A., any minor users or legally incompetent adults of the website who transmit, through it, their personal data to IXION S.M.S.A., are required and expected to have obtained the consent of their guardians or their possible guardians.

Period of storage of personal data

IXION S.M.S.A. maintains the personal data of the subjects according to the following criteria:

• For that period of time for which applicable law requires or permits us to retain your data, or for a longer period, so that we fulfill our obligations to tax, administrative or other supervisory authorities.
• For the entire period during which the subject remains a customer or maintains some other transactional and/or contractual relationship with IXION S.M.S.A..
• In the event of termination of any kind of transactional relationship of the subject with IXION S.M.S.A., the personal data is kept on the basis of IXION S.M.S.A. for an additional five (5) years from the termination of the contractual relationship of the above parties. IXION S.M.S.A. may retain personal data of subjects even after five (5) years from the end of the contractual relationship between them, in case there is a legitimate interest for the former. For example, in the event that legal proceedings against IXION S.M.S.A. are in progress. or of any other authorized and connected company, which directly or indirectly concerns the subject. Thus, the said time of keeping your personal data will be extended until the issuance of the irrevocable court decision.

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data (if any)

IXION S.M.S.A. may transmit personal data only to authorized third parties that are authorized to receive personal data of subjects (customers, partners, shareholders, etc.) for specific uses, to government authorities, law enforcement agencies (regarding the provision of necessary personal data that derive from our basic contractual relationship with the subject, e.g. sending energy consumption measurement etc.). • Ministry of Environment and Energy
• Register of Infrastructures and E-Mobility Market Bodies (M.Y.F.A.H.)
• DEDDIE.
• Consumer Advocate.
• Personal Data Protection Authority.
• Partners of IXION S.M.S.A. (such as, indicatively and not limited to, partners, subcontractors, banks, insurance companies, auditing companies, collection companies, law firms and legal advisors, etc., for the purpose of carrying out subcontracting contracts, carrying out banking transactions, audits of share transfer deeds by a sworn auditor, product promotion or market research companies, financial institutions, companies such as the Teiresias company, in order to check the credit of a subject, etc.).

At this point let us make it clear that IXION S.M.S.A. for any reason without the consent of the subjects (users, customers, partners, shareholders, etc.) does not disclose, make public, transmit, or make available for sale their personal data, to others unauthorized or non-compliant with the European Legislation on the protection of personal data natural and/or legal persons, in addition to the above possible recipients.

Your rights

In the context of the collection and processing of personal data concerning you, you have a number of rights based on the provisions of the legislative framework on personal data protection. IXION S.M.S.A. undertakes to respond to your requests within one (1) month of their submission. However, in cases where the satisfaction of your requests becomes impossible for IXION S.M.S.A. , we will notify you reasonably of our relative inability, as well as the expected date of response to your request, which will not exceed a total of ninety (90) days from the initial submission of your request.
